I've got as far as putting together a really ramshackle proof of concept version of the same thing and got as far as posting data to a rails server, downloading the blobs, concatenating them using the command line back into a webm file and then replaying the file successfully in ffplay. I'm happy to push this up to github if it's useful but with the caveat that it's very much ragged together and not at all representative of my normal work :laughing:
